Oh boy, Teresa Giudice sure had a moment there, didn’t she? She revisited a rather intense bit from her and her ex, Joe Giudice’s, reality TV saga. And let me tell ya, it was something.
Joe, at the ripe age of 52, dropped a bomb by calling Teresa, also 52, some pretty harsh names. We’re talking "bitch wife" and a "c—t" during a phone call. All of this unfolded on a cast trip to Napa, California. It was during the fourth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey back in 2012.
Teresa, well, she was livid. Watching that episode, she couldn’t believe her ears. On Carlos King’s podcast, “Reality With the King,” she spilled the beans. She was like, "We call each other names, but not that." She even thought the producers had dubbed it in! But nope, they assured her it was all Joe.
And then, Andy Cohen, the executive producer, had to step in. He confirmed to Teresa that, indeed, Joe had said those words. No editing tricks there. Teresa was in total shock.
Despite all the drama, Teresa didn’t shed a tear over Joe’s words. Instead, she had him sleeping on the couch for a solid two weeks. She confronted him, incredulous that he would ever use such language towards her.
Fast forward, and Teresa’s now with Luis Ruelas. She’s pretty confident Luis would never utter such words, especially not on TV. According to her, Luis doesn’t even curse.
Teresa and Luis, they moved pretty fast. Less than a year after her marriage with Joe ended, she started dating Luis. They tied the knot in August 2022. Teresa and Joe, who share four daughters, finalized their divorce in September 2020.
But back to the infamous C-word incident. Rumors swirled that Joe wasn’t talking to a work buddy but another woman. At the season 4 reunion of RHONJ in 2012, Joe denied cheating. He expressed regret over his choice of words, though.
Teresa, not one to sit back, did some digging. She reached out to two women she suspected Joe of cheating with. Both denied it. Teresa was left in a bind, not knowing what to believe.
To this day, Joe denies any infidelity. Teresa, on the other hand, doesn’t buy it. She’s moved on and is quite blunt about it. "I’m f—king somebody else," she declared, wishing Joe would just admit to his past actions.
