The Golden Bachelor’s Susan Noles is set to return to Bachelor Nation to help Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist celebrate their wedding on ABC’s The Golden Wedding special, which is all set to air on Thursday, January 4. Posting a photo on Instagram, Susan shared her excitement as she captioned the image of herself with Gerry, 72, and Theresa, 70, celebrating the upcoming nuptials.
Susan, one of the stand-out contestants from The Golden Bachelor, formed a special bond with Gerry during the show but was ultimately sent home. However, the pair ended things on good terms, expressing well wishes for one another. Despite the difficult ending, Gerry found love with Theresa and proposed to her during the show’s November 2023 finale.
Ahead of the highly anticipated wedding special, Susan and fellow contestant Kathy Swarts discussed the upcoming nuptials, with Kathy stating that she believes Gerry will be overcome with emotion at the sight of Theresa in her wedding gown.
Speaking exclusively to Us Weekly, Gerry and Theresa teased their wedding plans, with Theresa expressing her desire to have an intimate, family-oriented wedding surrounded by loved ones. Gerry, on the other hand, made it clear that he has nothing but praises for Theresa’s choice of wedding dress. The Golden Wedding can be viewed on ABC this coming Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.
