Survivor alum Carolyn Wiger recently took to Instagram to share her experience of leaving an abusive relationship. In an emotional video set to Kesha’s song “Praying,” Wiger revealed that she had decided to walk away from the toxic situation. The clip featured photos of damaged items in her home and large holes in her walls, with a subtitle reading “Don’t let them convince you it’s not abuse because they punched walls instead of you.”
Despite the difficulties, Wiger expressed pride in herself for leaving and emphasized the importance of overcoming abuse. She also shared moments from her past year, highlighting her time on Survivor and a video call with musician Sia, who awarded her the “Sia Award” after her season on the show.
