Shannon Beador is stepping back in front of the Bravo cameras following her DUI arrest. The Real Housewives of Orange County star, 59, shared a glimpse of herself smiling on set with her daughters Stella, Adeline, and Sophie, as well as a group of crew members. Season 18 of RHOC is set to officially kick off production next week, but Shannon got an early start to capture moments with her daughters before they returned to school. Shannon has been a main cast member of the show since her debut during season 9 in 2014.
Unfortunately, Shannon’s return to filming follows a legal incident. In September 2023, she was arrested for a hit-and-run and driving under the influence. Her attorney issued a statement, expressing Shannon’s remorse over the situation. Following the incident, Shannon was officially charged and later sentenced to three years of informal probation. She avoided jail time but was ordered to complete 40 hours of community service and a nine-month alcohol program.
Shannon shared via her Instagram Story that she was unable to comment on the situation at that time but intended to be open and honest in the future. A month later, she reflected on the incident, expressing her gratitude that no one else was injured. She admitted to learning a lot from her “terrible mistake” and vowed not to drive while impaired in the future. Shannon previously appeared on season 17 of RHOC with her friend Tamra Judge, who supported her following the DUI. However, their friendship has since been strained, and Tamra is now doing live shows with Emily Simpson and another cohost, Teddi Mellencamp.
