Paola Mayfield, the first winner of Prime Video’s competition series “The Goat,” is still awaiting her $200,000 prize money but feels proud and plans to use it to adopt a daughter with her husband Russ Mayfield.

The first champ of Prime Video’s The Goat is still in a bit of a whirl, trying to wrap their head around the win. And yep, they’re also on the edge of their seat for the prize money.

In a chat with Us Weekly, Paola Mayfield spilled the beans. She talked about how she rocked the competition as the dark horse, her drive to snag the win, and if she’s already splurged her winnings.

"The show’s just hit the screens," Paola, 37, shares. She’s talking about the cool $200,000 she bagged on the June 27 finale. "Gotta wait for the prize," she says, "But hey, I’m cool with that. Feels like the perfect storm, in a good way, ’cause I get to celebrate with everyone."

Waiting doesn’t seem to bug Paola. "It’s not all about the cash," she adds, "It’s about being the OG, the first to clinch the gold. It’s a proud moment. Sure, the money’s sweet, but it’s more about this chance and celebrating big time."

Summer’s rolling in, and TV buffs, you’re in for a treat. Shows like The Bear and Only Murders in the Building are set to dazzle. The Bear made its Hulu debut last June, taking us into The Beef restaurant. Carmy (played by Jeremy Allen White) steps up to run the joint after a family tragedy.

The Goat kicked off in May, throwing a bunch of reality stars into the mix at GOAT Manor. They duked it out in various challenges for a hefty cash prize and the ultimate title. Alongside Paola, big names like Joe Amabile, Reza Farahan, and many more joined the fray.

"To be honest, winning was a shocker," Paola confessed to Us. "Thought I’d be out on day one. But here I am, the OG of The Goat. Can’t wipe this grin off my face. It’s surreal."

Reflecting on her journey, Paola recalled a pivotal moment. It was then she knew she had to up her game to make it to the end.

"There was this one time, I knew I was in trouble," she noted. "I thought we had it in the bag, but nope. That’s when I decided, no more sitting ducks for me. Had to shake things up."

Paola, who first found fame on 90 Day Fiancé, has big plans for the prize money. She and her husband, Russ Mayfield, are setting their sights on adoption. "It’s a long process," Paola explains to Us. "We want to provide a loving, safe home. It’s been a dream for ages. This money? It’s going to make a huge difference."

The Goat is up for streaming on Prime Video. So, if you’ve missed out, now’s your chance to catch up on the action.
