Oh, the drama of “Vanderpump Rules” never ceases, does it? Since the show hit the pause button, Katie Maloney’s been pretty much MIA from her costars. It’s like, out of sight, out of mind, right?
On this one podcast, “Not Skinny But Not Fat,” Katie spilled the tea. She was all, “I don’t see him. I don’t see anybody.” But, oh, wait! She’d totally hang with Ariana [Madix] if she wasn’t off in Fiji. Because, you know, filming “Love Island USA” is a legit excuse.
So, Katie’s been all about this sandwich shop, Something About Her. She and Ariana are doing their thing, especially since Bravo’s taking a summer break from filming their show. Talk about timing, huh?
Katie’s like, “I talk to Ariana all the time.” Despite the crazy time difference, she’s keeping Ariana in the loop. It’s tough, though. Katie really wishes Ariana was there to experience everything firsthand.
In response to some nosy question about the show’s future, Katie’s chill. She’s like, “I mean, I’m not going to be concerned until it’s time to be concerned.” Makes sense, right?
Back in March, Katie hinted that the “Vanderpump Rules” cast doesn’t really hang out off-camera. On “The Viall Files,” she got real. “What group? They don’t even hang out,” she said. It’s like she’s over trying to keep up appearances.
Katie’s been doing some soul-searching, you know? She’s setting standards for the people in her life and isn’t afraid to cut ties if they don’t meet her criteria. It’s all about building up those boundaries.

And then there’s the fallout with Lala Kent. At the reunion, Lala came at Katie with some off-screen drama. Katie was blindsided, to say the least. “I felt like obviously she had been harboring certain feelings,” Katie reflected. It was a shocker for her.
Katie’s pretty firm on not forgiving Lala. Trust is a big deal for her, and once it’s broken? Good luck fixing that. She believes in privacy, even if you’re on a reality show. Not everything’s meant for the cameras, after all.
