Kandi Burruss has left “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” after 14 seasons, a move that she says has been beneficial for her mental and physical health, resulting in a 10-pound weight loss. She attributes her newfound energy and weight loss to cutting back on junk food and desserts, partly due to her partnership with Hydroxycut, as she prepares for a summer tour with her musical girl group XSCAPE and SWV.
Kandi Burruss has lost 10 pounds and feels energized since leaving “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” after 14 seasons, attributing her weight loss and improved well-being to cutting junk food and partnering with Hydroxycut, while also preparing for a summer tour with her musical group XSCAPE.
Kandi Burruss? Oh, she’s waved goodbye to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. And guess what? She’s also said adios to a few extra pounds.
At 48, Burruss made the big announcement. After 14 seasons, she’s stepping away from RHOA. Chatting with Us Weekly, she spilled the beans on how this decision was a win-win for her mind and body.
"I’ve lost 10 pounds," she revealed. Burruss, in cahoots with Hydroxycut, shared how her energy levels have soared. Rehearsals are a breeze now, and her cravings? Vanished. "No desserts. I’m over them," she admitted. Junk food doesn’t stand a chance either.
Meanwhile, Burruss and her crew, XSCAPE, are prepping for a summer tour. They’ll be hitting 30 cities alongside SWV. Talk about busy!
Oh, and did you hear about celebrities opting for surrogacy? Lance Bass and others have opened up about their journeys. It’s a whole thing.
Back to Burruss. She confessed to gaining quite a bit of weight before her pivotal career shift. "Living my best life," she called it. But a comment on her husband Todd’s Instagram was a wake-up call. Suddenly, it was time for a change.
Now, she’s on a mission. Burruss is curious to see if she can drop 30 pounds. "Haven’t been in my 130s since I was 30," she mused. It’s more than a goal; it’s a dream.
To hit her target, Burruss is leaning on Hydroxycut’s latest offerings. And as for regrets about leaving Housewives? None. Zero. Zilch. She’s feeling pretty great about her decision.
She did get a nugget of wisdom from Cynthia Bailey, a fellow Housewives alum. Bailey hinted Burruss might miss the action once the new season airs. But for now, Burruss is content. She’s looking forward, not back.
