Jose Nasazzi was born on the 24th of May, 1901. He was known for being a Soccer Player. Captain of the Uruguayan national team who won the inaugural FIFA World Cup in 1930. He spent the bulk of his club career with Bella Vista and Nacional and was a member of the Uruguayan national team from 1923 to 1937, before managing the team from 1942 to 1945.
Jose Nasazzi was born in Uruguay. He played as an amateur with FC Escriu and then joined CA Lito in 1918 to begin his professional career. After helping Uruguay win the 1923 South American Championship, he led a gold medal-winning national squad in the 1924 Olympics.
