Reality TV star James Kennedy has returned to the Vanderpump Rules set, giving fans a sneak peek of the upcoming episode via his Instagram story. Kennedy revealed the clever scene title, which was inspired by the cheating scandal involving Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss. The clapboard in front of his face revealed the scene’s label, “#Scandoval.”
Us Weekly confirmed that Sandoval and longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix had called it quits after she discovered Sandoval was cheating on her with Leviss. An insider divulged that Sandoval and Madix had experienced relationship stress for some time before the announcement. Kennedy himself is no stranger to drama, having dated Leviss previously and proposing to her with the help of his friend Sandoval in May of 2021, only to call it off seven months later.
Following news of the scandal, Kennedy shared a screenshot of an article about the breakup via his Instagram account, saying, “Hope you all feel as sick as I do. This explains everything.” However, he later urged his fans to “bring the tomatoes and the cabbage” to the Tom Sandoval & the Most Extras concert that evening.
While Leviss has not yet commented on the controversy, it is not the first time that she has been at the center of controversy amongst the Bravo personalities. Following Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney’s divorced in 2022, Leviss and Schwartz were caught making out at Scheana Shay and Brock Davies’ August wedding. Ahead of season 10’s premiere, Schwartz expressed no regrets about the incident, saying, “In the moment, there was momentary passion in the air. I kind of disappeared into that kiss, I’ll be honest. It was kind of a transformative moment. In terms of any long-term romance with me and Raquel, I don’t know how much chemistry is there.”
