On a breezy Monday, February 19, Johnie spilled the beans on Instagram. She’s 33, by the way. Alex, this dude who’s all about structural aerospace engineering, got the golden ticket to her season of the Netflix hit. But guess what? He turned it down. Said nope, not for me. You’ve got to admire a guy who knows what he doesn’t want.
“Alex was recruited for my season of Love Is Blind,” Johnie shared, alongside those mushy beach photos we all secretly love. He just didn’t feel it was his scene. Makes you wonder, doesn’t it? What if he’d said yes? But hey, they found each other in the end. That’s all that matters.
They met the old-fashioned way. Well, as old-fashioned as our digital world gets. A dating app. Johnie threw a shoutout to Bumble for playing Cupid. “Life is a crazy story, huh??!” she mused. And ain’t that the truth!
