Gabi Elnicki, the runner-up on the dating show, “The Bachelor,” has responded publicly to Zach Shallcross’s account of their relationship and the events that led to their breakup. Speaking on the “Click Bait” podcast, Elnicki denied that she had asked Shallcross to keep their sexual relationship a secret adding that she thought they had an agreement to keep things private. Shallcross has responded by saying he felt guilty and was worried about his upcoming engagement, which caused him immense anxiety.

As Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar continue their post-Bachelor press tour, Gabi Elnicki is starting to speak out about her side of the story — and the fantasy suites.
During an interview on the “Click Bait” podcast, the runner-up denied Zach’s recollection that Gabi was the one who wanted to keep having sex “between” them. She expressed that she agreed to keep it between them because she thought they were in a place where it was coming from a place of love.
Gabi thought Zach was giving her space to be able to speak to her support team about their relationship. She wasn’t aware of the conversation that was being had with Jesse Palmer and his interviews where he was using her name speaking in detail about what had happened.
During a joint interview with his fiancée on the “Here for the Right Reasons” podcast, Zach told Us Weekly that he was having “immense guilt” about sleeping with Gabi after setting the intention not to have sex on the show to not overcomplicate things. He wanted to confess to Kaity about what happened in the fantasy suite but didn’t want to hurt Gabi or freak her out. Despite it all, Gabi jokingly said she would have “beef” with Kaity if she didn’t score an invite to her wedding to Zach.
It appears that Gabi and Zach have different recollections of their time on the show, and it remains a he-said, she-said situation. Nevertheless, it’s clear that Gabi felt hurt by the way things were handled post-fantasy suite, and it seems that Zach is trying to protect his relationship with Kaity.
