Amanda suggested that Danielle was living in Lindsay’s shadow while supporting her behind the scenes.

Summer House star Amanda Batula recently gave her opinion on the drama taking place between Lindsay Hubbard and Danielle Olivera. The two best friends fell out after Hubbard proposed to Carl Radke last summer, leading to a change in Olivera’s behavior, according to Hubbard. In the latest episode of the show, the two continued to feud over the issue.
As the drama between the two heated up, Olivera sought comfort from housemates Amanda and Paige DeSorbo, who were quick to point out that Hubbard wasn’t allowing the developer’s “natural personality to shine.” This led to Amanda commenting on their dynamic, stating that Olivera was “the background” to Hubbard’s main character.
Later that evening, Amanda confided in her husband, Kyle Cooke, telling him that Olivera “went in on Lindsay tonight.” Cooke went on to declare Olivera a good friend and opined that she lived in Hubbard’s shadow, with her light being unable to shine on its own.
During the episode, Hubbard wondered why Olivera was questioning her relationship and choice to drink less around Carl. However, Olivera remained upset by the dinner exchange and left the Hamptons that weekend, later telling the cameras that she was “upset with her and her behavior and how she’s treating me and our friendship.”
